Trust, evidence and accountability

AI & Editorial
Standards.

Our public commitment to responsible AI-assisted work and dependable medical, technical and learning content.

Responsible use

Useful technology.
Clear safeguards.

Adaptive Nautilus may use artificial-intelligence tools to support research, drafting, editing, learning design and administrative work. These tools support professional judgement; they do not replace it.

We apply controls proportionate to the risk, audience and intended use of the material. Content that could affect health, safety, competence or operational decisions receives a higher level of scrutiny.

01

Human accountability

Adaptive Nautilus remains responsible for everything it publishes. AI-assisted output is not treated as authoritative and must receive appropriate human review before release.

02

Clinical and technical integrity

Medical, safety-critical and technical content is checked against reliable, current sources and reviewed by a suitably competent person for its intended use.

03

Transparent AI use

Where AI has materially shaped published content, we disclose its use when that information would reasonably matter to the reader, learner or client.

04

Privacy and confidentiality

Personal, client-confidential and commercially sensitive information must not be entered into an AI service unless its use is authorised and appropriately protected.

05

Copyright and provenance

We maintain appropriate records for sources, images, permissions and licences. AI-generated clinical imagery is never presented as a genuine patient or real clinical event.

06

Version control and correction

Manuals, learning materials and other controlled content carry identifiable versions or review information. Substantive errors are investigated and corrected promptly.

Safety boundary

Content supports readiness.
It does not replace clinical judgement.

Our manuals, courses, digital resources and website information are prepared for their stated educational or operational purpose. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, qualified clinical care, formal training requirements or an organisation’s approved procedures.

Users should follow applicable laws, recognised standards, manufacturer instructions and local emergency arrangements.
